As per FSSAI (Food Safety and Standards Authority of India) regulations and standard food hygiene guidelines, SudhJi does not accept returns or exchanges on food products once they have been delivered. This policy exists to protect every customer’s food safety. It is the same policy followed by all food companies in India.
1. Why We Cannot Accept Food Returns
Food products — including tea and ghee — cannot be returned once delivered because:
- There is no way to verify the condition, storage, or handling of a product after it leaves our hands.
- FSSAI food safety regulations prohibit the resale of returned food items.
- Accepting food returns would compromise the hygiene and safety of products for other customers.
- This is a standard and legally required practice for all food companies in India.
We understand this may be disappointing if you’re ordering SudhJi for the first time. That’s why we offer a Pack Replacement Guarantee for any issue on our end (see below).
2. What We WILL Replace — Free of Charge
- Your pack arrives physically damaged (crushed, dented, cracked cylinder)
- The seal is broken or leaking on delivery
- You received the wrong product (wrong variant or quantity)
- The product is visibly spoiled or has an abnormal smell on first opening
- The product is missing from your order
How to claim a replacement:
- Take a clear photo or video of the issue
- WhatsApp the photo to +91 98281 29848 within 48 hours of delivery
- Include your order number or the phone number used to place the order
- Our team will verify and dispatch a replacement within 2 business days
After 48 hours of delivery, we are unable to process replacement claims as we cannot verify the condition at delivery.
3. Cancellations

4. Refunds for Cancelled Orders
Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days of cancellation confirmation. For UPI payments, refunds typically appear within 2–3 business days. For credit/debit cards, allow 5–7 business days depending on your bank.

Every SudhJi pack is filled fresh, sealed in an airtight cylinder, inspected before dispatch, and packed securely for courier handling. In the rare event something goes wrong on our end, we will make it right.
